Hakata Ikkousha Ramen.
Hands down the best ramen we had in Bali. Thick, smoky, deeply flavoured broth and gyoza that were crispy perfection. A proper 10/10 from both of us.

We’ve been hunting for great ramen across Bali and Hakata Ikkousha in Kuta finally delivered the bowl we’d been chasing. We both went for the spicy pork ramen and it was honestly love at first slurp. The broth is thick, rich and properly smoky with so much depth of flavour, the kind of bowl you slow down for just to figure out what’s going on in it. The spice level is spot on too, warming without drowning out everything else. We added a side of gyoza and they were just as good as the ramen. Crispy bottoms, juicy filling, and they held their own next to the main event which is rare. Service was friendly, the place has a great buzz to it, and the whole meal felt like proper comfort food done by people who actually care. For us this is the ramen to beat in Bali. If you’re in Kuta and even slightly into Japanese food, just go. 10/10 from both of us and we’ll definitely be back.

Pison Ubud
Fish curry with crispy-skin sea bass, crispy pork belly stir-fry with a fried egg on top. Both maxed at 10. Service was fast, food came hot, sambal had teeth. Coming back this week.

Boy'N'Cow
Big steak, five sauces, sides that actually showed up. We told them it was our birthday and they brought a dessert out. Going back.

BUBA TEA - Healthy Boba, Premium Bubble Tea, Matcha & Coffee, Canggu
Best matcha in Bali, full stop. Banana protein drink tastes like coffee in the best way, came with real macros. The ice cream palette is five flavours on a paint board. They even draw your faces on the cups.
