Kosirae.

Kosirae is a proper Korean BBQ joint in Bangkok. Staff run the grill for you and the meat shows up looking like it was butchered ten minutes ago. Not the most polished dining room in the city, but it is full every night, which is usually the better signal. We worked through beef, pork, and fish. All three were sharp, fresh, properly seasoned. The cuts are decent quality (not premium, not bad either) and the marinades hit without smothering. Side dishes (banchan) come out generously and get refilled without you asking. Korean BBQ done right has a flavour that is hard to replicate elsewhere, and they nail it. Pricing is fair for what lands on the table, cheaper than the equivalent in Bali or Singapore. Strong recommend when you want a break from Thai food while you are in Thailand. Bring people who like grilling at the table, this is a group sport.
