Let's Bake Lembongan - French Bakery & Coffee.
French bakery, coffee, and gelato counter on Nusa Lembongan, run by people who actually know what they are doing. Gelato is properly creamy and not over-sweet, the pastry case is a small slice of Paris on a surfer island. Easy stop if you are spending the day on Lembongan.

Worth a visit.
Let's Bake Lembongan is a French bakery, coffee, and gelato counter on Nusa Lembongan, the small island a 30-minute fast-boat ride off Sanur. The cabinet runs through the classics: croissants, pain au chocolat, eclairs, tartes, a few rotating specials. Bakery culture on Bali has caught up fast, but it is still rare to find one this close to the real thing on a side island. We went for the gelato and it was the right call. Properly creamy, not over-sugared, with flavours that actually taste like the thing on the label. Pistachio that tastes like pistachio is a lower bar than it should be in Bali, and they clear it. Did not try the coffee, but the espresso machine looked serious and the people behind it knew what they were doing. If you are spending time on Lembongan and you miss French food, this is the stop. Even without that, the gelato alone is worth a detour after a hot snorkel session. Skip the chain ice creams you will see on the main strip and walk here instead.

Boy'N'Cow
Big steak, five sauces, sides that actually showed up. We told them it was our birthday and they brought a dessert out. Going back.

Akar Ubud by K Club
Tartare to start, wagyu steaks each, premium cocktails through dinner. Meat was so clean we'd happily eat it raw any night. There was a live show going on while we ate. Top score from both of us.

Pison Ubud
Fish curry with crispy-skin sea bass, crispy pork belly stir-fry with a fried egg on top. Both maxed at 10. Service was fast, food came hot, sambal had teeth. Coming back this week.
