Naughty Nuri's Warung Seminyak.
Naughty Nuri's is the Bali rib institution, and the Seminyak branch holds its own. Ribs are properly smoky and fall-off-the-bone tender, portions are big, the bill is fair for what lands on the table. Worth the wait if there is one.

Easy recommend.
Naughty Nuri's started in Ubud in the 90s and built a cult around its ribs. The Seminyak outpost is the polished version of that, same menu, more comfortable room, easier to book. Locals and expats fill it nightly, which tells you most of what you need to know. Ribs were the right call: properly smoky, fall-off-the-bone tender, glazed without being sticky. We also got the popcorn chicken, crispy and well seasoned, the sort of thing kids inhale, and the mash with cream, heavy and comforting, a real side instead of an afterthought. Portions are big enough that two people leave full off three plates. For the quality, the bill comes out fair. Not cheap-cheap but nowhere near Seminyak fine-dining money, and the food punches well above the price. Strong recommend, and skip the Ubud queue if you are on this side of the island.

Boy'N'Cow
Big steak, five sauces, sides that actually showed up. We told them it was our birthday and they brought a dessert out. Going back.

Sardine Restaurant
Sardine by K Club is the polished evening play, seafood-leaning menu with serious presentation. Weekends bring dancers and a fireworks set, so book ahead and dress slightly up. Cocktails are sharp, the scallop trio is the showpiece, the mussels marinière is the order.
