Shaburi & Kintan Buffet Bali.
All-you-can-eat Japanese BBQ that holds up plate after plate. The sweet-sauce beef is the move. Miso and kimchi on the side stop you going full carnivore.

Easy recommend.
We came hungry and left full. Grill in the middle of the table, plates of beef, pork, and marinated cuts arriving on order, miso soup and kimchi on the side. Quality didn't drop as the rounds went on, which is the real test for any all-you-can-eat place. He kept it simple: meat with the sweet sauce, again and again. He'd put it at 9.5, only docking half a point because the menu could have a few more options to keep a long meal varied. She rotated through more cuts and marinades, finished with miso and a beef onion soup, gave it a clean 9. Service kept the plates moving, the room is bright and clean, no waiting at the table empty-handed. If you're hungry and want to get your protein in, this is the move.

Boy'N'Cow
Big steak, five sauces, sides that actually showed up. We told them it was our birthday and they brought a dessert out. Going back.

Akar Ubud by K Club
Tartare to start, wagyu steaks each, premium cocktails through dinner. Meat was so clean we'd happily eat it raw any night. There was a live show going on while we ate. Top score from both of us.

Pison Ubud
Fish curry with crispy-skin sea bass, crispy pork belly stir-fry with a fried egg on top. Both maxed at 10. Service was fast, food came hot, sambal had teeth. Coming back this week.
